5 Trending Exterior House Colors
We recently featured our sister company, Rhino Shield South Carolina, on our blog but we just couldn’t get enough so we wanted to share their Instagram account, @rhinoshieldsc with you too!
A few weeks back, they touched on the current trending exterior paint colors of 2021, and guess what made the list…
1 – Off-White
2 – Pale Grey
3 – Pewter
4 – Black
5 – Sage
Over the last several years, basically after the Fixer Upper craze took off, so did the exterior colors of Off-White and Pale Grey. Neutral is in, and we couldn’t be more on board with this.
There’s something about a neutral color that radiates timelessness and class. Trust us, you’ll never get tired of neutrals, and although brighter, more exotic colors can be fun, we always recommend those in small doses.
Splashes of color are great for front doors or shutters, and perfect in settings such as the beach or coastal regions. However, one color we’re crushing on lately is number five on the top trending exterior color list of 2021…Sage! Falling somewhere in-between neutral and colorful, Sage provides a hint of color and a whole lot of curb appeal to any type of home. It’s neutral enough to be timeless, and fun enough to give your home that splash of color you may be searching for when redoing the exterior of your home.
When picking out colors for the exterior of your home, it’s important to consider several different things. Any color you pick should go with your shingles, sidewalks and permanent fixtures in place. Consider the era in which your home was built, as well as the style. Think about the visual effect you want to convey. Once you’ve narrowed down your selection, you can use our Color Visualizer on our website to help make your final decision.
Colors can be tricky, but they can also be a lot of fun, and trust us, the finished product is always worth it!
