Built to be low-impact, and tested to prove it
Our coatings carry low VOC content, under 100 grams per litre. They are non-toxic, safe for skin contact, approved for solid waste landfill disposal, nonflammable and resist the growth of mold and mildew. The low-E formulation reduces thermal conductivity, insulating the building better.
The odour is low enough that it is not an inhalation hazard. We are members of the Florida Green Building Coalition, and we believe companies should promote environmental consciousness and long-term sustainability.

Independently tested
Tested by outside companies, not by us
BASF Chemical Company and the National Fire Protection Association both performed tests on Rhino Shield. BASF found independently that the products provide protection and longevity against exposure to heat, cold and moisture, and that they performed well against accelerated general weathering and salt tolerance, better than most exterior paints.
The NFPA tested fire tolerance and gave it a Class A rating. Records of tests are available on request.
